Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Oneorbit Technologies LTD (“Oneorbit”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data in connection with unifiedorbit.com and our products (Iokora, Rexeipt, and Dogiveaway).
1. Who we are
Oneorbit Technologies LTD is a Nigerian software company. Registered operating address:
L37 Dawaki Modern Market, Dawaki, FCT, Nigeria
Email: unifiedorbit@gmail.com
Phone: +234 706 220 0142
We process personal data in line with applicable Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act / NDPR framework principles of lawfulness, purpose limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, storage limitation, integrity, and accountability.
2. What data we collect
Marketing website (unifiedorbit.com)
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited (typically via server logs and similar tools).
- Information you choose to send us by email or phone (name, organisation, and message content).
- Account-related data if you use sign-in features on this domain (for example email and profile details needed to authenticate).
Product platforms (Iokora, Rexeipt, Dogiveaway)
- Account and organisation details provided by customers (names, business or school names, contact numbers, email addresses).
- Operational records customers enter into the products (for example sales, receipts, inventory notes, school administration records, campaign participation details)—as necessary to provide the service.
- Messaging metadata and content needed to deliver WhatsApp or in-product notifications that customers configure or that end users opt into.
We do not ask visitors to this marketing site for payment card details. Product billing, where applicable, is handled through the relevant product’s own flows and processors.
3. Why we use personal data
- To operate and improve our website and software products.
- To respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
- To authenticate users and secure accounts.
- To send transactional and service messages that customers or end users have requested or that are necessary to provide the service (including WhatsApp messages described below).
- To meet legal, regulatory, and security obligations.
- To analyse aggregated usage so we can improve reliability and features (we prefer not to use unnecessary personal identifiers for this).
4. WhatsApp and product messaging
Some Oneorbit products use WhatsApp (including Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API or related Meta business messaging tools) so schools, SMEs, and campaign operators can communicate with parents, customers, or participants.
- Messages are sent in connection with a customer’s use of our products, typically after the recipient has opted in or has an existing relationship with that customer (for example a parent–school or merchant–customer relationship).
- We do not sell personal contact lists harvested from WhatsApp.
- Recipients can request to stop promotional or optional campaign messages; transactional or service-critical notices may still be required for the product to function until the underlying service relationship ends.
- More detail is on our WhatsApp messaging page.
When WhatsApp Cloud API or Meta platforms process message delivery, Meta acts as a service provider / independent controller for aspects of the WhatsApp service under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy. We configure and use those tools to provide our customers’ messaging features.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our marketing site may use essential cookies or local storage needed for session and security features. We may use limited analytics cookies or similar technologies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect sign-in or similar features.
6. Third parties and hosting
We use trusted service providers to run our business, which may include:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store website and application data.
- Meta / WhatsApp for Cloud API and related messaging delivery.
- Authentication, email, or cloud vendors needed to operate accounts and notifications.
These parties process data under their agreements with us and applicable law. We do not sell personal data.
7. Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to provide services to customers, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal retention requirements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where practicable.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable Nigerian data protection law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
If you are an end user of a school or business that uses our products, some requests are best directed first to that organisation (the customer), because they control much of the data entered into the product.
9. Security
We apply administrative and technical measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls and HTTPS for our public sites. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please use strong passwords and protect your devices.
10. Children
Our marketing site is directed at businesses and institutions. School products may process student-related data only as instructed by the school customer. Parents or guardians with questions about school-held data should contact the school and may also email us.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes notice of the revised policy where permitted by law.
